LSW spent 8 days scouting for modern glass homes within 30 minutes of Mr. Ali’s residence. Ms. Leibovitz ultimately decided to shoot in Mr. Ali’s backyard.

As the Southwest location scout and manager, LSW was responsible for finding catalog locations that included a whitewater rapid with vehicle access along the Salt River Canyon on the White Mountain Apache Nation. This shoot involved working with a high-end, New York–based fashion crew of 100 at a remote location.

For this project, the photographer needed to access snow-capped peaks, green ranch lands, and red rock vistas — all with in 1 hour’s travel time! LSW served as the Southwest location scout and manager for this catalog, which featured the Side by Side, ATV Sport, and ATV Utility at various locations around Flagstaff, the Verde Valley, and Sedona Red Rocks.

For this project, LSW Connolly took on the roles of producer and Southwest location scout / manager. We assisted with the crew, props, catering, motor home, camera, and grip equipment. The photo shoot took place at the Sedona Airport and on Forest Service lands around Sedona’s red rock country.

LSW served as Southwest location scout and manager for this project, which involved shooting still photos of GMC’s 2011 Savanna, Sierra Heavy Duty, Canyon, Acadia, and Yukon. Each book included a three-page fold-out, with locations in the Navajo Nation, Painted Desert, Flagstaff, Lake Powell, Scottsdale (parks and homes), metro Phoenix, Tucson, and the Biosphere 2. In addition to scouting locations from the northern to southern borders of Arizona, we obtained permits for many locations from Page/Lake Powell to Tucson.
